Terror Pilots as Neighbours: Talking about Violence, Religion and Dialogue in Hamburg after 11th September

The revelation that the suicide pilots had lived and studied at a university Hamburg had significant political and social repercussions in the city. The paper analyses the discussion after 11 September 2001 about religion and minority relations in local print media, in Hamburg schools and in inter-religious dialogue groups.
